Which thickness for your graphics kit?

Since 2018, we have offered two thicknesses to suit every need and every budget. Each has its advantages, but 550 microns remains our recommendation: a premium, durable result that is easy to apply.

The two choices

300 or 550 microns

Two vinyl thicknesses, two ways to apply and to ride.

300 µm

The budget-friendly one

This is the historic thickness, the one we have used since the beginning. A good choice for small budgets, with a clean, customizable result.

Thinner, it needs more precision when applying and a well-prepared surface. It is recommended for road or occasional use.

550 µm

The ultimate quality

The latest advances in vinyl. A premium material with a reinforced, repositionable adhesive that grips extremely well.

Thanks to its rigidity, application is ultra simple, even for beginners, in under an hour. It is built to withstand extreme conditions: road, enduro and motocross.

What changes between the two

For each criterion, here is the difference between 300 and 550 microns.

Application

  • 300 µm: needs more precision and a well-prepared surface.
  • 550 µm: ultra simple application, even for beginners, in under an hour.

Hold and grip

  • 300 µm: a clean result, as long as the surface is well prepared.
  • 550 µm: reinforced, repositionable, ultra-grip adhesive.

Rigidity

  • 300 µm: thinner, so more delicate to apply.
  • 550 µm: rigid, which is what makes application simple.

On the road

  • 300 µm: recommended for road or occasional use.
  • 550 µm: perfect for the road.

Enduro and motocross

  • 300 µm: not recommended, it is meant for road or occasional use only.
  • 550 µm: built to withstand extreme conditions.

Budget

  • 300 µm: our budget-friendly material, for small budgets.
  • 550 µm: our premium quality, durable and easy to apply.

Application tip

The 550 goes on stress-free

  • Its rigidity makes application simple, even for a beginner. Allow less than an hour.
  • The adhesive is repositionable: if you make a mistake, you can reposition it.
  • Clean the surface well before sticking, it is the key to a flawless finish.

For our American and Canadian customers

Orders to the United States and Canada are printed and shipped from our workshop in Pennsylvania. It only works in 550 microns, the standard there: there’s nothing for you to choose.
