CAUTION WITH THE XT 660 R
THE XT 660 R have never changed plastic, if you have an XT 660 R, you will therefore have to take one of the graphic kits before 2006, even if your XT 660 R is from 2012.
On the other hand, the XT 660 X change plastics between 2006 and 2007.
