Saddle cover measurement taking
📸 How to properly photograph your seat for custom cover manufacturing
You want to order a personalized seat cover for your motorcycle, but we don't yet have the template for your model? No problem!
Just send us 2 precise photos of your seat, with a visible measuring tape in the photo. Thanks to these images, we can create an accurate template of your seat in our software.
But be careful: the photo angle and framing are essential! Here is a small guide to do it right:
✅ What we need
-
1 photo from above
-
1 photo from the side
-
On each photo, a clearly visible measuring tape (or ruler) placed on the seat
-
The entire seat must appear, without zoom or cropping
📷 Example of correct photos
✔️ Top photo – Good practice
-
The photo is taken vertically, flat, above the seat
-
The measuring tape is visible lengthwise
-
The seat is whole, without excessive zoom
✔️ Side photo – Good practice
-
Taken well horizontally, at seat height
-
You can see the entire profile of the seat
-
The measuring tape is visible for scale

❌ Errors to avoid
🚫 Zoom too close
❌ Only part of the seat is visible → Impossible to create the complete template
🚫 Wrong angle
❌ Tilted or slanted photo → Perspective error during scaling
🚫 No reference
❌ No visible measuring tape → Impossible to properly calibrate dimensions
🚫 Cropped framing
❌ Part of the seat is out of frame → We cannot trace the complete outline
Example of bad photos:
Photo too zoomed:
Photos with wrong angle:
📨 Once the photos are ready...
Send us the two photos (top and side) on our Whatsapp.
Be sure to specify the exact model of your motorcycle, and we will take care of the rest!
